Wasted Spend & Automations
The underperforming ads check flagged the ad that brings in our best cases
Ran the wasted spend analysis this morning and one of the underperforming ads it surfaced is
the ad I would least want to pause. It has a low click-through rate and the enquiries it does
produce are our highest value ones by a distance.
I can see why it's flagged - the click-through rate is genuinely well below the others in
that ad group. But the conclusion the page invites is the opposite of the right one here.
Is the check purely click-through based, or am I missing a setting? And is there a way to
mark an ad as deliberately-low-CTR so it stops coming up?
