Keyword Ninja wasted-spend report ranking leaks by cost, with zero-conversion keywords and junk search terms
The problem

Most accounts leak budget where nobody looks

Keywords that used to convert quietly stop converting. Search terms you never chose start eating budget. The waste rarely shows up on the main dashboard, so it compounds month after month while your reports still look fine.

Keyword Ninja pulls your own Google Ads data and runs the checks a careful manager would run by hand - only across the whole account at once, and ordered so the most expensive problem is the first thing you see.

What it finds

Four kinds of waste, on one screen

Zero-conversion keywords

Keywords with at least 30 clicks and 25 dollars of spend that produced zero conversions. The full cost is counted as recoverable, because none of it bought you anything.

Junk search terms

Search terms with 5 or more matches, zero conversions, and at least 10 dollars of spend - the queries quietly draining budget that belong on a negative list.

Weak ads and duplicates

Ads whose click-through rate is less than half their ad group's average, plus duplicate keywords competing against each other inside the same campaign.

Ranked by cost, so you fix the expensive thing first

Every leak is scored by real dollars, not by a vague health grade. You work top-down: fix the 600 dollar problem before the 6 dollar one, and stop the moment the numbers get small.

  • Analyzes a 30-day window by default, adjustable from 1 to 180 days.
  • Looks only at active keywords, ads, and search terms, so nothing paused clutters the list.
  • Read-only until you approve - nothing changes in Google Ads without a click from you.

Wasted ad spend, answered

What counts as wasted ad spend?

Spend that produced no conversions: keywords with clicks but no sales, search terms that were never going to buy, and ads that underperform their own ad group. Keyword Ninja quantifies each in dollars.

How does Keyword Ninja decide a keyword is wasting money?

The default rule is 30 or more clicks, 25 dollars or more in spend, and zero conversions in the window. Those thresholds are deliberately conservative so you are not chasing noise.

Is the wasted-spend report really free?

Yes. Wasted-spend analysis is available on every plan, including the free tier. There is no separate add-on for it.

Will it change my account automatically?

No. Keyword Ninja only reads and analyzes your account. Every negative keyword or pause is applied only after you approve it.
