The problem

Your account does not perform evenly around the clock

Most advertisers bid the same at 3am Sunday as they do at 11am Tuesday, because the standard reports flatten the week into a single average. The average hides the two or three hours that quietly burn budget and the handful that carry your conversions.

The heatmap un-flattens it. Every hour and weekday becomes a cell you can read at a glance, computed from your own hourly Google Ads data and shown in your account's own timezone and currency.

What you can do with it

Read the week, then act on it

Every metric, any cell

Switch the grid between cost, clicks, impressions, conversions, conversion value, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, CPA, ROAS and value per conversion - all recomputed instantly from the same data, with no reload.

Three views, one dataset

See the full 7x24 grid, collapse it to 24 hours to find your best times of day, or to 7 days to compare weekdays. Ratios are computed from summed totals, so the numbers stay honest at every zoom.

Scheduling recommendations

The page surfaces the hours and days worth a bid adjustment and lets you export the whole grid to CSV. An optional GA4 layer overlays on-site engagement on top of the ad metrics.

Built on your real hourly data

The heatmap reads date-grained hourly performance, so any date range and period comparison works - not a fixed lifetime roll-up.

  • Timezone-aware and currency-aware, using each account's own settings.
  • Compare any date range against the previous period to see what changed by hour.
  • A conversion-lag note flags recent days where conversions are still coming in.

Dayparting in Google Ads, answered

What is dayparting in Google Ads?

Dayparting, also called ad scheduling, is adjusting your bids or budget by time of day and day of week so you spend more when you convert and less when you don't. The heatmap shows you which hours are which.

How does the heatmap decide what to show?

It reads your account's own hour-by-hour performance and lays every hour of the week on a grid, colored by the metric you pick. Darker cells mean more of that metric, so patterns jump out instantly.

Can I see it in my own timezone?

Yes. The grid uses each account's timezone and currency, so 9pm means 9pm where your customers are - not UTC. If you scope several accounts with different timezones, the page tells you.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. The dayparting heatmap is available on every Keyword Ninja plan, including the free tier. Connecting your Google Ads account is all it takes.
