Does ad copy still belong to us now that AI Max can rewrite the headlines?
Working through what AI Max means for how we write, and the headline generation is the part I
keep circling.
In a regulated profession the copy is not a creative decision, it is a compliance one. There
are claims we cannot make, comparatives we cannot use, and phrasings that our regulator would
take an interest in. If the system can assemble a headline from the page content, then
something we did not write and did not approve can appear over our name.
I'm not assuming the worst - I would rather ask people who have had it running longer. Two
questions:
Has anyone seen a generated headline they wouldn't have signed off? Not merely worse than
yours, actually unacceptable.
Is there a practical way to keep the copy to what was approved while keeping the matching
benefits, or are the two things sold as one package?
